Louis is a founding member of DoubleLine Capital, which began in December 2009, an investment management company which had $122 billion in assets under management when he retired as a Senior Advisor and member of the Executive Management Committee in December, 2018. He served as Chief Operating Officer of the firm from June 2010 until March 2018.

Previous to his time at DoubleLine, he was a Group Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager at Trust Company of the West, from July , 2001 until December 2009. Mr. Lucido was the Chief Investment Officer for the Delphi Financial Group (DFG) and on a number of subsidiary insurance company boards from July 1997 until April of 2001. Prior to joining DFG, he was the Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director & Corporate Secretary for Hyperion Capital Management and also a member of the Resolution Trust Advisory Committee, February 1992 through May 1997.

Since 2013 he has served on a number of local and National non-profit charitable organizations, most recently on the board of National CASA/GAL ( Court Appointed Special Advocates) which ended December 31, 2024.

He is currently the President and Board member of BioCorRX, Inc. since Jan. 2024 and is an outside Board member of Elian LLC.

Mr. Lucido received his MBA in Management and Finance from New York University and is a former member of the Dean’s Executive Board of the N.Y.U. Stern School of Business.
