Rocio is a highly experienced healthcare executive with over 20 years of expertise in the Congregate Living Healthcare Facility (CLHF) industry. She began her career as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Skilled Nursing Facilities and hospitals, eventually progressing through the ranks due to her passion for nursing and helping others. After completing her LVN clinical rotation at New Start Homes, she developed a strong interest in neurological and catastrophic traumatic injury care, which led her to join the facility as a new graduate LVN. She quickly advanced to RN Supervisor and later to Director of Nursing and Administrator following the transition to Care Meridian. Progressing to becoming the Director of Operations for Care Meridian’s 9 facilities in the San Fernando Valley. Over the next seven years, she successfully led operations and expanded her expertise, ultimately becoming a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN). She then transitioned to CLHF Homes as Director of Operations, overseeing 12 facilities and driving company growth through strategic leadership and development.

Rocio currently serves as a Director of Operations Consultant for Second Opinion Expert, where she provides operational guidance and strategic solutions for multiple CLHF providers. She works closely with senior executives to assess opportunities, streamline operations, and implement best practices in care delivery. Her role also involves collaboration with software development teams to enhance facility management systems. Rocio is well-versed in regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including CDPH, Joint Commission, CIHQ, Title 22, and more, and maintains strong relationships with industry regulators.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Rocio is an active participant in community charity groups. Her leadership, interpersonal skills, commitment to patient care, and ability to navigate complex challenges with grace have earned her a reputation for excellence within the healthcare industry.
